Some of my more personal things...


This flag flew from the Antenna on my vehicle the entire time.  If you look carefully in several of the photos, you can see it in the background.  I did wash it once or twice as it was totally saturated in crude oil from the oil fields.



This was the 'Spec' plate on the rear door of Mary-Lou, my vehicle.  After spending so much time with her, I needed something to remind me of her, and beside, it was almost falling off anyhow.



This Bible was issued by the U.S.M.C. to my grandfather (WWII, Pacific) when he was in the Corps.  He carried it through his 'tours' through the pacific.  When I was over in the Gulf, he sent it to me, which I wrapped in a Ziploc bag and carried in my pocket.  Below is the inside cover and what he wrote to me.
