
From within the "NetWork' panel, Tap "Preferences" and select "New". Give your connection a Title, add your ISP's "User Name" and "Password" and ISP Dial in phone number.	You can select how you wish to connect by tapping "Connection" and selecting one of the options, or the method you created in the step above.	Tap "Details..." and you can adjust them if required.

Using External Modem Set-Up	Using Cellular via IR
Connect the proper cables, see mine	Line up your phone and Palm IR Ports, See mine.
		From Connection Dialog select the connection you just made.
		Tap "Edit..." will bring up this screen, ensure all is right.
		Tapping "Details..." will get you here...Tap "OK".
		Go to the "Network Panel" and select the Connection you want to use, ensure that the "User Name" and "Password" and Phone Number are correct and Tap "Connect".
		The Palm should start to dial into your ISP using the settings you defined.
		If you didn't enter a password before, you will be prompted for one.
		The unit will then sign on to your ISP.
		The "Flashing Bar" indicates a connection to your ISP.

You should end up with a 'flashing bar' in the upper right corner indicating you are connected to the modem. Notice
the message "Data Call" on the screen of the phone.


Under Connection, Tap "New..."	Give it a name and select what you are connecting to....	And how you are doing it....	Dialing properties....
